This note is a long time coming, considering the fact that Howard and I speak of you so often. As I’m sure you have heard our little angel was born on March 9th after a very uneventful and frankly great pregnancy. She weighed 8 lbs 1oz and was 19 ½ inches long. She arrived with her eyes wide open and barely made a peep as Howard and I stared in amazement  at our little miracle.

We chose the name “Faith” for many reasons, but mostly because we found that we had to have faith in so many things in order to achieve our dream of having a baby together, not the least of which was you and your incredible talent as a physician.

When we look back on the years it took us to get here, it seems like a very distant memory, and all of the steps and twists and turns seem so insignificant compared to the joy of having a daughter. And yet, there were so many times that we thought we could not go any further. It was only with your confidence, skill and support that we were able to take each new step. There are no words enough to tell you how grateful we are for all that you did for us. Your staff was outstanding and so caring every step of the way and your unwavering commitment was what helped us to continue.

It is hard to believe that just about a year ago we were again holding our breath, praying for a miracle and hoping not to be disappointed another time, and here we are today looking into the face of a beautiful baby girl.

Thank you so very much for all that you do. You have given us the most incredible gift any person could hope for and we will be eternally grateful.
