Using the simple phrase thank you falls so completely short of being an appropriate expression. But there’s no way around it.

Thank you for everything: for working with our schedules, being so patient, giving great advice, guiding us through each procedure, having a phenomenal staff, being one of the best doctors I’ve ever had, and for just plain being a funny guy. The list could be endless.

There’s no doubt that this time in our lives has been difficult, but your help has made it much more tolerable. Besides, the final outcome is going to be an amazing child, and for assisting us with this we cannot thank you enough.
