Meet Dr. Holly Mehr
Holly Mehr MD, MSEd, FACOG is double board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Obstetrics and Gynecology, and she is a fellowship-trained reproductive surgeon. Dr. Mehr earned her medical degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York University Medical Center. After completing a fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Lahey Clinic in Boston, she and her family moved to Los Angeles where she completed a second fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at UCLA. Dr. Mehr has been recognized for both her medical knowledge, achieving one of the top REI board scores in the country, and her surgical expertise, having received the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons award for excellence in minimally invasive surgery. She is an active member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), working on the Education Committee, the Access to Care special interest group, and as an abstract reviewer.
Dr. Mehr brings an educator’s training to patient care.
Dr. Mehr started her career in New York City as a public school teacher, completing a master’s degree in Education at the prestigious Bank Street School of Education. This unique training led her to develop a more transparent, patient-centered approach to care. In addition to her education work with ASRM, she was awarded the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology Patient Advocacy Award and the Ryan program award for excellence in family planning.
